Just signed up for the 3 month for $12 deal, and so far I'm loving it. I've done about 4 races, got 3rd place in 2, crashed out on the first lap in the other 2, so a mixed set of results.
So far I've mostly stuck to the MX5 Cup on Lime Rock Park, learning that so I can have some good races, but I tried out a street stock oval race at Charlotte last night and it was much more fun than I expected - flat out through the smoke of a spinning car is quite scary, must be terrifying in real life.
Anyone here racing on it as a rookie?

I joined about a month ago, using the 6 month free offer that slipstream77 posted about, and have found it exciting and frustrating in equal measures (the frustration being mostly down to my complete lack of talent). I like the idea of the safety rating scoring system and have only come across 1 di**head in all the races I've participated in, and he got short shrift from just about everyone else. Not got the hang of car set ups yet but would be up for a PH championship.

I've been getting back into it also.
JimSuperSix something that i was not totally clued up on but certainly makes a difference, your SR at the end of a race is based on number of Incidents/Corners. So if you have a crash turn one or any lap you should aim to get back to pits, get repaired and carry on so that your incidents per total laps is lower, than doing 1 lap and crashing and scoring negative SR.
I had a couple of races last few days where i have been taken out at turn one but have continued to finish the race and still come away with 0.15+ SR.
