Get a Yahoo one then?

I think one of the mods is on here, he might be able to help. It's worth persevering, as it's a great forum.

I had this problem as well. In the end I had to register using my work outlook account. Yahoo won't work either.

Nope, its not a joke - its to try to prevent the endemic scamming that most forums get.

We've had several people appear, advertise Fiat Coupe parts at decent prices, take hard-earned money off the members, only to disappear without trace. Stats show that the vast majority of these scammers use a hotmail or gmail address

So - we banned them in order to keep the members safe(r)

There's nothing wrong with registering from a work email addy - it's not made public anyway (unless you elect to reveal it)

Ok, Thanks Nigel.

Yep it's a friendly forum with loads of Coupe knowledge and advice. Worth signing up if you have a Coupe.

Brinks! - How the heck are you?

yes, its me - still in a Coupe (well, two actually - one very early 16v n/a pre-release dealer car and a highly modded 20vt Plus). The forum is still going strong, despite the gradual decline in the numbers of Coupes on the road. There's still a few of the original members on there - DaveG and Kayjey being two of the more prominent

You should pop in and say hello - just don't try to register with a hotmail or gmail address... rolleyes

I know several other forums that employ the same thing for exactly the same reason and I've got no problem with it. Hardly a joke.

For what it's worth it's a damn good forum, well worth joining. In my short time so far as a Coupe owner (really must pop up a Readers Cars thread) it's been a goldmine of information, help and friendliness. Well recommended.

Although watch out because before I joined I wasn't planning on any money on the car, now I'm contemplating a trip to FC Performance in Bristol! £££!

If they stated the requirements when trying to register or gave an idea of who you can use that they will accept then all well and good.
All i want is an MOT failed 16/20 valve turbo to put the engine in an Alfa..

Wayne - I have several 20vt engines, in various states of disassembly and various mileages.

I have one that's still in a mostly-stripped shell, complete with gearbox, wiring loom, driveshafts, subframe, ECU - pretty much everything you'll need.

However, the turbo is toast and it needs an exhaust manifold (although I could arrange to have the existing cracked one repaired)
