Schloss Dyck - German classic & vintage festival

A couple of weeks ago I went to an event called 'Classic Days' at Schloss Dyck, a stately home in the countryside between Dusseldorf and Cologne. It was a pretty good event, some awesome cars and a nice setting. It's not quite Goodwood (especially lacking in on track action, since it was mostly out of sight), but definitely in the same vein. There were a few stars from the past, including guest of honour Stirling Moss! A few highlights below, the rest here.

Just along the autobahn from me too, been there a few times to take pics of the Schloss itself and also when there was a show touring around lighting up famous buildings with different coloured gels etc...

Superb, did you get any more photos of that orange metallic Mercedes? I think it's called a C-111?

Baz, we must be some of the luckiest PH'ers in terms of access to motorsport events....in the last 3 months I've been to 6 events, in 4 locations all less than 1hr 20m of my home....plus a few more in coming up soon!

Yep it's a C-111 . Special car, I took a couple more detail shots but didn't upload them to keep the set varied.
