I've just sold my Hot Hatch as I couldn't fit a tow bar to take a small motorcycle trailer.

Currently looking for something good on MPG, comfy for longer trips, 2005 later and up to £4500. I've seen a couple of Saab 9-3's, 9-5's, VW Passats, Audi A4's which seem to fit the bill but just looking for any experience of the cars mentioned, other suggestions, advice etc?

Thanks

I had a Honda Accord for a few years. Nice to drive, comfortable and well specced in Exec guise. I had the 2.4 petrol which isn't economical but they do a diesel. Pretty cheap on the 2nd hand market for what they are too.

Actually, I change my suggestion to this. Cracking and pretty under rated cars.
