Chimaera wont start!

I've had an intermittent starting problem ever since I've owned the car (3 weeks.) It's a 97 Chimaera 400 with the Meta alarm/immob. Upon starting (never when hot), the engine doesn't turn over. It mainly happens first thing in the morning.

I press the alarm, and turn the ignition on. You then hear the fuel tank prime, and I go and turn the key. The wipers start to move and the stereo looses it's memory. You can hear the starter motor (solenoid?) clicking, but that's it. After trying a few times it starts as normal. I can't figure out why the wipers start though!

Please help! I don't want it to get worse as it's very embarrasing. Already had the Chim on a breakdown truck following a 12k service

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere.

Check battery / starter & earth (especially the one on the nearside under centre console) connections.

Best to remove clean and reconnect each one to play safe. Hope this helps.
