Looking at a nearly new M3 Special Edition, in that nice pastel blue colour. Got DCT, Comp Pack, t'internet etc and black wheels. I really like the colour and spec, anyone got one? And what do you think?
I sat in one at the weekend, about 5 mins before it sold and quite liked the feel.

lol. You might be right.

Turns out im now not looking at M3s anymore. BMW were offering silly low money for my M5 this morning (got better as the day passed, but not that much) and a blast in the Uber-barge tonight convinced me id miss the V10 roar. I did however get a few phone calls offering incredibly good PCP deals on nearly new M3s this avo, just couldnt commit to 3 years in a car i wont love as much as the 5er.

I'm in exactly the same place Eddie.

Drove from Scotland to London last week in the beast, the most enjoyable drive of my life!

I just hope I don't get a wee surprise in the post in the next two weeks.

I'm finding it VERY hard to move on from this E60 M5!!!

What do you mean by funny money? Strong or weak?

I was referring to the return journey from north to south through the night!
M74/A74, M6, M1.
Driving through the night, with light to very light traffic, was just brilliant fun.
Cumbria is quite stunning, with long, wide tempting stretches of road.
(camera vans regularly in operation on overhead bridges through the day)

Cheers, also planning to do this in the wee hours, makes sense to avoid the traffic. Hopefully the wife will be asleep!
