Expansion bottle water level

I'm sure it's normal but just to check. My expansion bottle never has any coolant in when cold, it takes about glass of water every time before it starts to fill the bottle, I usually fill it half way up. But after every drive there is no coolant left in the expansion bottle when cold.

Do you have the same problem?

Should say I have never had a cooling issue and no matter how many miles I do 10 or 1000 its always has no coolent in the expansion bottle.

There is usually some in mine. I check it with a chopstick and it's normally a quarter full. If you top it up it soon goes back to it's happy level. Cooling is fine now both fans work
