Best source for a Chimaera wiper drive cable?

Mine's finally died after a couple of bodg...er, repairs (teeth worn where they connect with the spindle gears). Easy repair if I can find a new cable. Don't need the spindle gear boxes, just the cable, but am being told by a couple of main dealers that this is not available separately. Ideas on donor car etc?

Try David Gerald, they carry a large stock of spares. Managed to get an early Chim speedo sensor from them. Tried quite a few places with no luck but they had one.

Used on loads of old British Leyland cars, like minis, so you should be able to source something off the shelf at a local breakers.
