Anyone else getting this? Been about 6 years since I last played Counter Strike, and I do fancy some more.

i was in the beta from the start its a good game and has come along way from the start of the beta and think yourselves lucky about that haha.
i just look forward until all the modders get their hands on it and start putting out some fun maps and mods :P

surf maps are already up and a few more gg_maps have been added on some server rotations.

It's ok , quite good to play to old maps but it does show how advanced BF3 is.

And size, physics, style of play, team play, weapon feel, and pretty much every other direction.

CSGO is fun as a pick up an kill kind of way. ILl kaap playing it and it is worth the £10 asking price but BF3 is where my main gaming will be, trouble is everyone has OD'd on BF3 so CSGO is a refreshing change.

Same genre. entirely different game. CS has always been an e-sport game. Balanced competition of small teams, great to watch and great to play.

The only thing you can compare is graphics.

^ This. Me and a mate are just about to give it a go. We've played CS since we were kids (original CS beta) and he was professional at CS and CS: S. It's downloading as we speak but I've got the daunting feeling it's going to be hugely underwhelming. It looks more like a big patch than an expansion.
