Hi all, having used Travel City Direct in the past for a package deal, I'm just looking for any info or advice from people who have used other ways to book.

We will be looking at a 5 bed villa with a pool to sleep 6 adults and 4 children. Location isn't a massive issue as we have always rented a van so we are quite happy to travel a little.

Thanks on advance to any advice.

We stayed at a development called Glenbrook on US 27, just a little north of the western end of the 192. If you want to be close to Disney its pretty close, there is a supermarket literally 2 mins walk away and there are numerous eateries within 10 minutes drive along the 192..

This is the one we had : http://www.disneypalmsvilla.co.uk/ but there are loads in that estate of varying designs and sizes.

sign up to http://www.thedibb.co.uk/ it's a bit 'mumsnet' but there is a decent choice of villa owners where you can get a bit of a feel for their provenance. Used it a few times and have had some great villas at great prices.

Just rent direct through sites like Villarenters or Holidaylettings. They are remarkably cheap. We stayed in a villa at Indian Point off Poinciana Boulevard which was round the corner from a large Walmart and within short driving distance of all the major parks and Kissimmee.

I'm posting this from Glenbrook right now smile

Currently renting this villa....

http://www.orlandoheaven.com/

6 bed, 4 bath, 2 living area's, pool, jaccuzzi, games room (pool table, air hockey, table football).....there are 4 of us!

I can recommend the orlando villa's website posted above. Its direct rental by the owners, so what you see is what you get. I've used it many times, and its how I rented this villa.

The chinese takeaway at the front of Glenbrook isn't bad if you can't be arsed to go anywhere smile
