The cheapo shelby mustang gt500 quicker than the 991S and not much slower than this RS

991S with the X51 pack and spasm would probably level it with the RS while keeping the rear seats.

I think he may have been 'struggling' with the PDK.....

But thanks for sharing Mr Docklands and Ade -that one's given me a better idea on a coupla corners on how to tackle them on the Playstation....

Got i hate the way that PDK box makes the car sound from gear to gear.

Engine sounds great otherwise though. The GT3 of this car (if it does get the manual) could be quite something.

It does not say.

The test car has the option but it does not sound as if he is pinging off the hard limiter (sport plus on). I am guessing that he has sport mode on and psm off.

Is it just me but i cant get my head around 'fake heel and toeing', does my head in.

That said, good to see the 991 winning the competition. Some dreadful comments for the Aventador and i still want one of those toyota/subarus ... thats the most important car in the world right now IMO.

991S stock did 1.39.3 there.
1.40 is a stock 996 GT3 time at LS with a fast driver. Motons and grippier street legal tyres will put this down to about 1.37 (same as stock 3.8 GT3RS)
Stock 4.0 GT3RS did 1.36
Stock GT2RS did 1.35
Stock Z06 can do 1.34 (and it's on run flat tyres)
2008 997 Cup (3.6L) will do 1.30 laps
2011 997 Cup (3.8L) will do 1.28 laps
2012 RSR will do 1.22 laps

3.4L 991 does a 1.46 on same circuit, around 7% slower than the S.
