It's been a bit over 6 weeks now since my daily drive (Alfa 159) broke down and they're still repairing it. Luckily I have my trustworthy Wedge, who has gladly taken me up and down the road a bit over 3000 miles during this 1,5 -month waiting and still going strong. Tomorrow or on Thursday I'll properly wash and clean and wax her and at Saturday we'll get to Vanajanlinna, where Finnish Sport car club SUA arranges meeting for sports cars.

I'm so happy I have her - she's really something I can count on smile

Indeed. She did have a little leak at the thermostate housing right after Alfa broke down, but it was pretty easy and quick to repair. And that's pretty much the only actual fault (I do think I should change the bearings and synchros on the gearbox, though - it does give a little noise on 3rd and 4th gears - but that isn't a journey-stopping fault) on the car so far, during the total 12000 miles journey I've had with her.

Although I have to wonder why did this gasket leak:

There's now 72500 miles on the clock, it was ~60000 when I bought the car (1,5 years ago):
