Bad day, Good day
Discussion
Bad day - el JPS went to Dr Sinclaires for a GEO check, came home un-geo'd and booked in for a new steering rack.
Current one has too much play in it apparently and needs replacing + new track-rod ends. Incl GEO labour and VAT that will be a £500 kick in the charlies when he goes back in 2 weeks to have it sorted.
Oh well, I'm looking forward to having one sorted car for the end of summer once it's done.
Good day - those nice chaps at Sinclaires valeted the wee beasty anyway and he looks like he's been tarted up to be sold off a forecourt.
He's taking the groom to a wedding on Sat so at least el Best Man S Works only has to clean and buff a little on Friday now.
Big brownie points for customer service from the Sinclaire massive
- if that's how they look after him when he's not even having something done then I'll be pleased to leave him there in future.
Its the little things that REALLY matter to potential customers, nice to know some people out there still value tip top customer service - top one fella's!

WORSE DAY!
I've just polished el JPS in prep for his big day on Saturday (taking best man and groom to wedding) and found a bloody great gouge round the Lotus badge on the front... looks like it was done by a polishing machine.
phone call to the lads at Sinclaires tomorrow sadly.
AND I've just clipped a kerb on one of the ally's AARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!

Well just had a close look at it, thought it might have been a rotary polisher (seen similar before) but Sinclaires advised they don't use them (phew - pleased it wasn't done on their watch) On closer inspection it looks like some chav has tried to screwdriver the badge off.
again!
Hopefully the Sinclaires massive will be able to do a localised repair when it goes back in... will someone pls stop my car from being poorly!!!
