What is it with this guy and badges/stickers?

Now I know he has had a mention before however I managed to stumble across one of his cars again, namely the S350 CDI. After looking at the interior shot I couldnt help but think the "BlueTec" badge cheapened the interior hugely and it looked really out of place, its then the memories started flooding back about "Badge man", a quick flick to the exterior shots confirmed my suspicions and here he is sticking tat all over a £40k Mercedes. Another flick through all his other cars showed its same old same old (including the random 'Ring stickers).

I find it all very trivial, Im guessing most people that buy vehicles off him have the aggro of removing them which makes you wonder why he does it in the first place?!?

Another point, he advertises a C350 Coupe on his website, claiming it to be a 3.5 V6, did this car ever exist? scratchchin

Yup, it did exist. Still does in some markets that like big petrol engines.

Shame about the badges - why the heck does the dealer feel the need to piss some of his profit into tacky badges that most sane people wouldn't want anyway?

Whether they look crap or not (yes, I think they do) it certainly seems to get him some free advertising!

he probably lives in a nice chrome finnished caravan hence the love of cheap badges.
