Ogle Story.

Apologies if discussed recently but couldn't find anything on PH search.

Trawling t'internets I stumbled across the first picture above and was intrigued. A quick google showed up a little more information but just wondered if anyone here knows owt about it? I quite like these odd quirky creations - shame we don't get them any more.

Very cool - a car I had never heard of!

I remember this car from the late sixties early seventies. I saw it when the Motor Show used to be held at earls Court. There were quiet a lot newspaper articles about the car. It was on the Ogle stand not the Aston Martin stand.

Same here. I like it. Is it just me that thinks it looks a bit like a Maserati Bora from the front?

Maserati Indy or Ghibli from every angle just about

Also Lamborghini Urraco in parts... very derivatively Italian, which is hardly a bad thing

Urraco! That's what it reminded me of, couldn't think of the name!

Used to look at the Urraco and Jalpa to try and get a cheap Lambo - glad i didn;t now, though the Jalpa looks good these days with that targa top...

I've always loved the Jalpa, always seemed to be such an under rated Lambo. Targa top just makes it even better for me.

Also, I see a hint of De Tomaso Mangusta in that Ogle design too.
