Where can I purchase 2013 grandstand tickets on their own
Discussion
Hi All
Myself and son went to the Le Mans 24 hours in June 2012 with Vauxhall Power Events and hopefully we will be returning for the 24 hours race in June 2013
I can book a Le Mans package of camping, parking and general admission ticket but want to purchase 2 off grandstand tickets on there own.
I know they are expensive but my birthday is on the Friday before the race and can afford to treat myself.
Can anyone tell me where I can purchase grandstand tickets from, as all of the ticket agencies seem to only offer complete packages of general admission, camping, parking
My Grandstand preferences are
1. T21 Tavano
2. T20 Leonard
3. T19 Lagache
4. T16 Sommer

Both Motor Racing International and Page & Moy used to have a race tickets only service. I'm pretty sure you needed to buy the GE tickets at the same time. I assume the service will be available for 2013. Certainly, ACO will provide them but you may have a restricted choice if you're not an ACO member because members have a two weeks window ahead of non members to get their tickets. You could of course find an ACO member and do a deal with him.....

doh!!
okay, either buy grandstand on it's own, but unlikely that anyone will let you do that, or buy with GA and then flog the GA ones, possibly at face value or slightly less.. Most ticket agencies won't allow you to purchase grandstand tickets on their own.
Try Just Tickets today and talk to them about your requirements. The earlier you try and do this the better.
Can you not turn down the GA tix you've been offered already, as I think this would be the easiest option, then purchase GA and grandstand together.
ETA to add : I am not affiliated to Just Tickets in any way!! You might be able to tag your grandstand order on with someone else's order... If they are being a bit of a pita about just grandstand tix
ETA ETA : If you mention that your son is 16 or below, then they will at least allow you to only have to purchase one GE ticket, as he won't need a GE ticket anyway. So at the worst you'd need to only get 2xgrandstand and 1xGE.
