I don't think the car is relevant. Maybe you notice 4x4s driven like that more because they are easier to notice. tts drive like tts regardless of their vehicle.

Just because the owner of a range over sport was driving like a tit doesnt mean all 4x4 drivers are insecure. The fact that they drive a range rover sport shows thy aren't exactly serious about the need for a 4x4 and probably are insecure needing to splash their cash on what the neighbours have to make themselves feel good.

Who says I'm insecure? Someone been talking about me? I knew it, they all hate me. Oh god why did I buy a 4x4, I knew it wouldn't fool them. I know - I'll drive fast in this car park. Sorted.

Like I said 'I don't mean to stereotype', and I'm sure most 4x4 drivers are perfectly acceptable members of society, it's just something I've noticed lately.
You don't mean to stereotype, but you are. I notice lots of idiots driving lots of different cars.

I don't see the desire of 4x4 for city driving. The only thing I can think of is that they feel that they have something to prove, so drive and act like a ****. Any more ideas?
Many people only have one car. If they need a 4x4 for towing or just want one, they're going to have to drive it in the city aren't they? Do you have a different car for each type of road?

You saw a prick driving, it's not related to the type of car, it's pretty much universal.

I'm sure that somebody who could afford a Range Rover sport, with an expensive-ish private registration, and run the car, they could get a small town car.
Are you telling other people what to buy?

and do what with it ?

the RR has more internal space for taking stuff to the tip..

it has higher towing capacity for launching and retrieving their boat..

and in a crash vs a city car... they will win!

volvo will probbably submarine under the RR in a head on.

unless you mean a huge estate volvo is a good city car ? ... even though its about the same length as the 4x4?

Wouldn't say insecure would definitely say arrogant and ostentatious. Driven fast and aggressively because they are better than everybody else due to the money given to them by their parents.
