Does anyone else like Camp Coffee? What actually is it? Where does it originate?

Can you still get it?

I haven't noticed it since I last went shopping with my Gran in 1973!

Ah well, you have a lot to look forward to, but you missed the Moon Landings, England winning the World Cup (that won't happen in your lifetime! biggrin) and the Beatles vs the Stones (think Blur vs Oasis with original music from the Northerners smile ).

I don't think I've ever tried it - Does it still come in the Days of Empire-Racial Stereotyping packaging?

Ah, I see not :

Used to be the Indian was serving our brave Scotsman in my day!

Says its made with chicory online and I've had coffee with that in abroad and it was truly awful.

I use it for baking and stuff. Also like to stick a slug into hot chocolate for a mocha type concoction.
