Discussion
Ok so I am starting a thread on my fleet as its now becoming after buying latest one yesterday, I spend half my time in Australia and half in the UK so cars are divided between the two.
All four cars are ebay purchases
1985 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Cabriolet
1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo
1995 TVR Chimera
2002 VW Passat W8
The Porsche is now with me here in Australia. It is in immaculate condition having undergone a complete rebuild a few years back. Its just started to puff the tiniest bit of smoke upon start up so the engine is having a top end rebuild. After the rebuild I will probably be selling it as I just dont enjoy it that much.
the Lotus is currently on the water being shipped to me, it is due to arrive in October.
This one was from a museum collection, Its got the V8 bodykit and resprayed Lambourghini Orange. Prior to shipping I had the interior restored, complete new fuel system put in (alloy fuel tanks), engine sorted properly and repainted, wheels refurbed, alloy header tank, plus loads of little bits. A sports exhaust will be fitted when its passed the aussie inspection.
The TVR was bought from the same guy as the Porsche. Started out as a 4.0 HC it was bored out to a 4.2 with various engine upgrades. clear indicators and absolutely pristine it wants for nothing. low mileage and well sorted car.
The Passat was an impulse buy, I have yet to see it in the flesh. Hopefully delivered next week. It is a true sleeper, looks like a passat yet contains a 4.0 W8 (the engine they went on to develop for the Veyron). 57k FSH and MOT
I bought all these cars for a combined price of............
24050 GBP............. same as a new Volvo really - wonder if anyone can guess them individully
some photo's

Excellent post. Love the Esprit, especially.
Is the rear of the TVR really that much of a colour mis-match, or is it just a trick of the light /photograph? Looks lovely and clean, anyway.
trick of the light -its got a perfect paint job.Is the rear of the TVR really that much of a colour mis-match, or is it just a trick of the light /photograph? Looks lovely and clean, anyway.
The avenger is one of the old mans- he has two, the one appearing in the photos will be for sale soon. Fully rebuilt with a 2.0 red top. I dont think he has actually ever driven it. He enjoys building them then just sells them for a fraction of his investment!!
