Restaurant in Leeds – 30th Birthday??
Discussion
leeds city centre restaruants migth struggle to accomodate so many these days - there actually imho aren't THAT may places to eat out well in Leeds any more.
it might look a bit cheesy from the outside but Bibis under the railway bridge 2 mins from station is fun, can accomodate the size of party you need and the food ain;t bad.
Otherwise try one or two of the places in "The Light"...

Thanks for the advice, I like the look of restaurant bar and grill – will be giving them a call this afternoon.
I have had a few meals in the FP as its very handy for me – being walking distance. The food is much better than before, the service has always been good for me compared to some places. Ever eaten at Jamie's Italian……………

The Flying Pizza could well ruin your night, since the refurb the food has improved but the service is still utterly abysmal. Had to ask the head waiter or manager or whatever 3 times for bread, it came after the starters eventually. No idea why this place is so busy!?
I pop in starbucks quite a bit when im out getting shopping and the FP is pretty much always empty. Lunch time often has 5-10 tables at Napa and 1 maybe 2 at FP.It may get busy a peak periods eg weekend evenings, however Napa next door is usually packed and people go to FP instead when they have no room.
You get the feeling the FP has somewhat of an air about it. You either fit in or you don't.

Jamie's is distinctly average and you can't book
I think they have finally sorted this one out - larger groups are allowed to book but smaller tables still need to wait like desperate homeless people outside and for that reason alone I'd avoid. What about one of the Japanese places? A bit of food and theatre rolled into one and they should be able to fit 20 - 25 around a couple of the big "tables"?
