E60 M5 doesn't feel right
Discussion
My M5 doesn't feel quite 'right'
I've had the alignment done at the dealer and all is ok and they say they can't find anything untoward.
The car feels loose and jiggly (technical terms) via the steering wheel. It seems to tramline a lot more than usual.
Any ideas anyone?
I drove an new Astra for a week on holiday and it steered better, which cannot be right!

Tyres tyres tyres
Not an M4 but similar sized rubber on my 530d MSport (275/30/19 rear, 245/35/19 front) - it had 2yr old fairly well worn Continentals on the front, and frankly it was dangerous - it tramlined like nothing i'd ever experienced, it had electric turn in that then fell into understeer and the ride was very very hard...
I changed to Dunlop Sport Maxx's and my god, its a different car - i mean a total transformation!

Apologies for very late reply, will definitely look into tyres. I've been driving the runaround for a while as doing more miles. Incidentally drove car for first time today and still doesn't feel 'right'
