I've got a Toyota Carina 1.8E from 1996 that I bought for £200 for a lads challenge (we're going to the Nurburgring!) but the battery is dead on it. I'm trying to keep the costs to a minimum since I only need the car for a couple of months and will then be selling it again.

I found this cheap battery from the RAC £29.99 but am not sure if this will do the job:

The RAC officially recommend this one which is £10 more but I figured they're always going to slightly over-spec their recommendations to be on the safe side:

What do you reckon? Will the cheap one do the job? Does anyone know where I can get a cheaper battery?
Thanks

I have not checked the spec of either battery, however from personal experience I know that a smaller battery than original will do the job of starting a car until conditions get tough.
I ran my 2.5 v6 with a battery about 2/3 the size until the weather got too cold.

OK I decided to spend the extra £10 and go for the RAC recommended Bosch battery. I don't really fancy trying to bump start a car on the Nurburgring! Thanks for the suggestions everyone
