Plus pro stock bike record an supertwin fastest run and pretty good numbers in tmd and tmfc, top fuel looks boring in comparison!

Oh no, not again, water ends play.

Congratulations to everyone running their numbers on a good track,

salute to the racers who did PBs, european records and,

in some cases, world-class times and even bettering those.

I sat in mixed emotions before my PC screen reading eurodragster.com ,

felt good for the teams but incredibly sad that they could not run them in Hockenheim.....*sigh*

Yeh but it was still backed up to 5.8 something I thought! Either way an incredible achievement

Yes, the only class where 1.000ft is the distance is Top Fuel Dragster,
all other car classes and bike classes are running the quarter mile.
What a stellar run from Peter, and to think that there is more (less) in it.....

Peter's runs were awesome to see and he clicked off slightly early on the 5.79 due to feeling a vibration.

Awesome to see a European Pro Mod get very close to 250mph also, I'm sure Martin would have got closer in the final as extra boost was going to be applied ..

Martin went over 250 in qualifying and he did it last yer too but owning the record at 247 is prety good too,
Martin is a very smart guy Iv been in his workshop he has an in house dyno and plenty of turbo experience
I dont mind being second to him at the moment wink

No, the 5.709-run was aborted due to the bike drifting.

By FIA cars I would think, drivers competing in the whole championship.

It just goes to show how much of a cost the travelling is for these guys. If it rains you get nothing back.

rain=no money
crappy track= no money
sponsors are not that willing anymore, so i understand why they only run at the "home" track. In Sweden some of the teams have to trawel 1000 km. or more to go to Tierp. Don´t know much abouth English teams, but they also have big expenses to go racing. I talked to John Bradshaw in Germany, and he wasn´t that happy abouth the money he spend to go there. Also the teams from Finland talked abouth the money spend on trawels. You really have to have the money to go a full tour, nobody does that "just for fun"

It looks like if you want to run at Tierp you have to run your Top Doorslammer Pro Mod legal as there doesnt appear to be a Tierp roud for TD.

Its interesting that the quick bump spot may be as much to do with the TD guys being there as it is the quality of the track.

Remember Andy Robinson Per Svedberg and adam flamholc were there last year, so if you include them as they are front runners and would have got into the field on the times they run last year the cut off would be around 6.17
