Hi Adam, the air con does work and well enough to keep the cabin cool. However, I've got the tunnel mod which helps keep the hot air away from the cabin. My air con feels cold at the vents.

Sounds like you've got an issue. I'm sure some of the guys will be along to tell you where to check, fuses and relays, etc.

Yes the aircon can be fine temperature wise if a bit uneven in distribution. Sounds like yours needs re-gassing (go to somebody decent, I went down the buy cheap, buy twice route) AND your heater control valve is stuck open to some degree but it is located in the tunnel so a bit of a pig to get at. Have you got the US build manual? This has all the pictures you need in their fault finding section.
Good luck
Rob

I had the same problem, was the heater control valve.

+1 - Air-Con was re-charged and works very well while the engine is still cold but otherwise the heater constantly blows warm. Car going back to Kerridges shortly for a replacement Lambda sensor so will get them to fix it at the same time.

The valve is accessible from below the car through the louvred panel a real PITA to fix, floor off would make it far easier, if you need to re-seal or replace your floor that would be the time to do it.
The valve may be letting by, but it is quite common for the cable retaining clip to "not" retain and thus limit the travel of control wire to the valve lever and not shut off fully, this combined with an airbox that has no mixing box incorporated means that the heater matrix heats the cold air your air conditioner just made!
The heater box is bespoke Noble / Superformance item, though you can improve the fan set up, with a bit of fiddling an escort Mk 4/5 fan unit fits nicely and has a decent resistor pack.
