For a 2500M, was there a factory method for attaching the driver and passenger floor carpets to keep them in place?. Mine were redone by the previous owner and are easily "scrunched" toward the pedals or firewall when climbing into the car. I'd like to replicate the factory method if there was one.

Thanks!

Mine had a ridged rubber mat, perfectly cut to match the recess, on the driver's side.

Best,
BH.

I have no idea as to how the factory fixed carpet but I used these on my footwell carpet and they work really well. They are virtually invisible to the eye and allow you to take out and replace as required when cleaning or if they get damp at all.

'77 Taimar footwell carpets overlap the carpet under the seat by about 2" and secured with wide strip of Velcro.

I should add carpets are not original but maybe copy original design?
