Ford Transit, how much are they worth?
Discussion
Hi, I wonder if any one can help (sorry if there is a more appropriate section)
6 weeks ago my father in law died at due to a heart attack.
I have been helping with the shutting down of his business, and one of the last items to take care of is the disposal of two Ford Transits, I was wondering if anyone can give me a realistic valuation?
First is a 57 plate T350 TDCI 100ps meduim wheelbase, high roof van, which was council owned before my FIL purchased in March. Excellent condition, 7 months MOT, taxed until the end of march 2013. Air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors etc. 66k
Second is a 55 plate long wheelbase, twin wheel non-tipping flat bed. taxed until the end of March 2013, MOT almost up. It's on about 96k and is a bit rough around the edges cosmetically but is mechanically sound and drives fine.
Both are in white with one previous owner before my FIL.
I've done the usual on line valuations and the prices vary wildly, so if any one has experience and can help that would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Mike

Thanks guys.
Re: the thread lock, hope not, I'm not advertising them and while I'm able to look at the classifieds, prices vary wildly.
I'd love to be able to stick them on Ebay, but I need to be a bit more accurate when I'm sitting with the accountant, than "three days left, its currently at £1200 with 18 watchers..."
Plus, having a MIL who is understandably devastated, I need to be a bit careful with this one and any selling medium that could lead to complications.
