Just stopped in to the brewery/bar/shop while down at the parents. Wanted to point it out to any Northumberland PHers, though they did say they'd got some down to London and Edinburgh as well.

I'm not the best at describing beer tastes, but here goes:
Blondestar: Nice, hoppy and light beer. Would compare it to a more sedate version of Brewdog's punk IPA - and that's no bad thing, this would be much nicer as a session beer.
Sinistar: I'm not into darker, coffee beers, but it seemed quite nice. My Dad (stout drinker) really enjoyed it.
Anarchy: 7% lager, made with the idea to explain what a lager properly is, this is cool conditioned for 6 weeks. Dangerously easy to drink, but I would've liked a bit more hops (hop head!).

But the star was an experimental South Pacific IPA they have brewed, really nice, smooth nutty and caramel flavours. 6.3% but doesn't taste it, perfect addition to a night of Belgian trappists in my mind!

Look forward to seeing it in Edinburgh soon, be sure to check them out if you're local! smile
