Parr fast road alignment results (986 S)
Discussion
Recently had this done to my Boxster and am very pleased with it, it gives the car slightly more weight in the steering, a fair bit of extra oversteer (not enough to catch you out though by any means) and a generally more responsive and agile feel.
It cost about £270 with VAT and is well worth it IMO, they even cleaned the car inside and out, very thoroughly! Their customer service is very good and it was done within the day (dropped off at 10, finished by 4). I'd recommend this if you want better handling out of your car. I've also replaced all bushes, springs, shocks, ARBs and had new (Eagle F1 Assymetric 2) tyres, so this was the icing on the cake really - on another Boxster the difference might be even more pronounced.
They told me the limits of adjustment on the standard car mean they can't give dramatic differences (coilovers and pillow mounts are what you need for this), but I'd say their fast road setup is good for just that - tyre wear won't be worsened that much but handling is noticeably improved - I think it makes the car more like it should be - like this strips a lot of the boring neutrality of the car's handling leaving you with more of a sports car feel!
