Hi guys,

Looks like the T350R will have a quite a bit more power next season so I'm in the market for some 10.5'' or preferably 11'' rear wheels so that we can use a larger rear tyre like some of the tuscan racers. We'll subtly modify the rear bodywork to fit them. Any suggestions for make / model / availability / price? Ideally as light as possible, may consider forged but depends on the price. Anyone fitted any? Currently running 9'' SP12 but these limit us to a 250 race tyre.

I'm looking at doing this conversion myself as like you will be going more power next year but not competing. The rear arch conversion looks pretty straight forward but will be a messy job!

My only concern is fouling on the chassis suspension pick points etc I've not really had a good look tbh. I was looking at going 10" The wheels that I have always used when racing or sprint/hill climb have been either billet Image split rims or Superleggara which are super strong 1 piece and pretty light. The superleggaras are pretty similar to the I think 12 spoke wheel( I can't remember the name of)which I've seen on a lot of speed 6 cars

Chris at Autorefinishing has done the T350 inner arch mod you talk about and has got 11" rears on his (he doesn't race it as far as I know).. My Sag has 10" wide 19" Jade alloys on with no rubbing and no arch changes, but probably designed that way die to the still born race series.

I think samnorthy also has 10" wide rears (SP12s) on his T350.

Had a bit of a dig around and Volk Racing CE28N look like they might fit the bill. 10.5J forged rims and very light, only downside is they are only available with a 15mm offset. Anyone tried these?

At about £600 a corner they're about £200 less than the OZ SuperleggeraIII and I think I prefer the one piece look.

Does anyone know if you'd get a way with a 10"X18" On the rear with the Tamora with say a 265 rear?

Thanks

Hi Darren,

I'd looked at the rimstock but wheel which is a much better price and the same as my current SP12 style, what size tyres have you managed to fit on the 10J, Dunlop appear to recommend a min 10.5J for the 285.

Thanks for the info Darren, if the 285s fit the 10''' rims then I'll go for the rimstock wheels and save about 2k which can be spent elsewhere on the car. That T5 dog box is still going by the way, only broken it once so far.
