My wife wants to sell her Xbox 360.

She has the 120gig version, 26 games, two wireless controllers, charger for the controllers, and the kinect.

These are the games she has

The only problem is that sometimes you need to turn the box on and off a few times before the game will load, DVD's always load 1st time.

Any ideas on value would be very welcome please.

i would say the games are worth around about £100 maybe and £30-50 for kinect then £5-10 per controller not sure about the xbox since its faulty but im sure it can be repaired easily just would need a new DVD drive.

99% sure the DVD drive just needs the rubber 'donut' around the spindle cleaning - dust accumulates here and stops it from gripping the discs, doubt it's a problem with the laser. However, I would still imagine it's not worth much at all. Original xboxs with 20gb hard drives go for like £30 ish with all cables and controllers.

I was quoted £75 trade in for my Elite around a month ago. Games won't be worth a great deal at trade-in and even less as a cash sale. £140 would probably be fairly realistic for the lot, as I'd base this on the cost of a new 250Gb unit.

Yes, you wouldn't get the games with a new console, but the bundle prices are pretty good right now, and some of those games are pretty dated.

possibly i took a air canister to my DVD drive on my old xbox and dident help at all i also used a laser cleaner disk dident help either so i dismantled the DVD drive cleaned it and still no luck so if its the same as mine it would need a new DVD drive.

If you go to the Game website and look at the bottom of the homepage you'll see "trade in", if you insert the barcodes of the games you'll get a valuation on those smile

I'm trading a few games in for £140 this week biggrin

Thanks for the advice guys.

Someone at work offered us £250, so I snapped his hand off.biggrin

I thought we would be looking nearer the £150 mark as you guys were saying, so we are very happy.
