OK!
I went out and started up the Cerb this morning for the first time in a while.
She started well and I left her running while I went indoors to get a ciggie.
Came out with the intention of having a short drive once said ciggie was finished.
As I walked around to the passenger side I noticed a big wet patch appearing. I got down on my knees to investigate (still with ciggie!) and found that petrol was absolutely pissing out! yikes
Dived into car and switched off. Opened bonnet and found that the fuel pipe from the fuel cooler to the injection rail had failed!!!
Thank god I didn't just start the engine and drive off!

So, where can I get a new pipe? Are they available or do I need to get one made?

TVR Power usually have them in stock. Give them a ring - they should be able to stick one in the post the same day.

Just ordered new hoses to replace mine. PTFE with stainless braid! They should last a lot longer than the originals!

Where From and how much, thats the one thing i havent changed on mine.
When i looked the flexi pipe that connects to the fuel rail looks like its clamped to the hard fuel pipe that runs through the tunnel. Am I right if so how do you connect the new one?

I'll post up details and pictures in the next couple of days.
This is experimental so I don't want to lead anyone astray if I've got it wrong.
Plan is to be driving again on Saturday so fingers crossed!

The connectors to the hard fuel lines are compression joints which are swaged onto the flexible hose. You may well find that the the olive wont come off the off the hard line, so you may need to use the old olive/nut.

TVR Power supply PTFE/Stainless braid hoses already made up with the correct fittings. It is a litle while since I bought mine but they didn't strike me as particularly expensive compared to replacing a fire damamged Cerb!

Ok thanks, was on my list of things to do but has suddenly become a priority after seeing the past couple of threads, and yes totally agree that its not expensive compared to the damage it can cause.

I replaced mine at the end of last year. I was advised by a mate who runs a hose business to just use standard fuel pipe and replace it occasionally. Ie in 2 or 3 years time.

The only additional thing I did was to get new heat sleeving

Dom just advised that they don't supply hoses but to take them off and get Pirtek to copy them. Sounds fair enough to me, although I'd have prefered a straight swap out but it's no great shakes.

Just to add to this... this happened on mine as well, except I drove about 13 miles up the motorway with fuel sparying out all over the engine/alternator. I'm amazed it never went up in a ball of flame!
