It is that time of year again when two numbers mark out the age of a new car and make those other cars look old and dated.
So for the first few days it is still quite novel (for me) to spot the new plates and normally a happy looking owner driving a brand-new immaculate car before they become the norm.
So this thread is for people to post the cars that they see wearing these plates and to see if anyone spots anything interesting.

Ordered the wife a new car about 3months ago, said that i would wait until first of september to get the new 62 plate. few calls to dealer about progress, all on track. Then two weeks ago car will not be ready until 20th October!
To cut a long story short - they are supplying a car until mine is ready.
The only reason to order a new car is to get the new plate and get all the options. It was the options that made it late.

I'm in a very similar boat, but they refuse to provide me with a car. Unimpressed. To cut a long story short - they are supplying a car until mine is ready.

Just 20 minutes ago I saw a new 6 Series convertable in white, parked up. Compared to the previous generation it is an unsightly beast. A mashed up rear end and my 12 year old, holey MX5 soft top looks better!
Agree they are a big beast but it's in another league to an mx5 surely?Carl

Probably just me! (The soft top i'm on about) The car is several leagues above the MX5 of course!
