Anybody else go?

Stars of the show for me were Chris Williams' supercharged 42 litre V12 Packard Bentley (1500bhp!) and Napier-Bentley (supercharged 24 litre Broad Arrow formation 12 cylinder (3 banks of 4 cylinder around a single crank)

What's the big gnurled knob for just under the steering wheel of the Packard-engined device? Any ideas? (Looks like it's for opening flood gates).

Love the torpedoes - oil tanks I believe. I've seen Chris and his various cars many times. He's quite a character!
