suggestions country houses to stay not too far from london

hi guys

racking my brains and internet to find a great place to stay with the mrs for a wknd

must be quite high end as im a fussy bd and generally quite stressed right now

the likes of the manor house near castle coombe or ellenborough park in cheltenham

these are my benchmarks so far in the uk

would be nice to be by the sea

or just big grounds with a pool would be fine

hope pistonheads can save the day again
