Enjoyed the car so much missed the MOT which is now overdue. Do any of you know of a good service garage that will give the 400SE a good service and put her through the MOT. I live in Gloucester. Anyone used David Gerald. Must say i have never had so much fun on the roads, can not stop grinning.

David gerald is good okay priced for resourcing parts and does a good job on servicing! As long as you can get past the smug arogance of the chap the experience will be bareable!!

Slightly off thread but what 400SE did you buy in the end Owl? Any pictures for your profile. You're earlier thread suggested you were after a 350i and a lot of decent ones were thrust your way, what made you change to the 400?

keep an eye out for Southern Wedge meets on PH, you're close enough to tag along

Putting on very smug face. I got my 350i MoTed last week. It sailed through!... Well, it got through. I had a bit of a problem Betty with the hazard warning lights. They prefered to flash on the near side only. My tester suggested cycling the switch a few times and lo and behold, after a few buzzing arcing type noises from behind the dash, it finally flashed all 4 lights. Apparently my exhaust is OK, but he is not sure how... How much is a stainless one chaps?
