Hi All -

I'm trying to get hold of a fan clutch for my Pathfinder.

Trouble is, it's the 4.0 petrol version - which there are just a handful of over here in the UK.

I've found the part from US sellers on the'bay - but none will ship to the UK.....

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a UK parts supplier

n.b. its this part if anyone knows of any potential suppliers - that would be grand!

p.s. the motor in the Pathy is - apparently a longer stroke version of the 350/370z - will a part from these work?

any advice most gladly received!

The cooling fans on the 350Z (and I presume the 370Z) are driven by electric motors, so won't be the same part.

Have you tried www.courtesyparts.com (US based) ?

They ship to Europe, and appear to have the part number on your e-bay link in stock.

Pathfinder 4.0 V6, Viscous Coupling 21082-EA200 £303.64 + VAT. No UK stock, is available from Nissan Europe. Takes around 3-4 days. I could do 10% off that if it helps.

Thanks for the offer - but why is it US part is 88 quid plus taxes whereas UK is over triple that???

Craziness :-(

Supply and demand (or lack of) and economy of scale would be my guess. Who knows, I have experienced similar when looking for parts for my 300ZX. The US is the place to be it seems. Offer stands should you so wish.

Im having the same problem finding a Rear Brake Lens for my Nissan Terrano R20. Ebay the lot.
I did find the part on http://seekpart24.com/magnetimarelli/stop-light-71... but was wondering if anyone had heard of or used them before in case I get scammed.

Never heard of them. If the cross reference is correct to OE part number 26850-0X000 £50.58 + VAT in stock in the UK. Could do it for £44.25 Inc VAT + any required postage.

Looks fine to me. 26580-0X000 is for 10/99 on so should be fine. If you ring me on 01303 228234 on Monday we`ll sort it.

OK great no prob. Have just noticed I put £50.58 + VAT above, that should be inc VAT. My bad, sorry.

Well, I finally got around to fitting the fan clutch this weekend - the Pathfinder now doesn't sound like a bus!

Got delivered from the states very swiftly -

shredded my hand in the process, but worth it for the saving in labour charges!
