Lot of old classic car magazines for free

I'm having a pre-university clearout and have found 14 old car magazines. I don't really have the space for them, so if anyone in the south east is interested, send me a message and you can come down and take them.
There are 3 "practical motorist" issues from 1934, 1938 and 1939, in fairly poor condition.
The rest are in good condition: there's an "Autocar" from 1972 and the rest are all "car mechanics" issues from the 1960s and 1970s.
There's lots of information about various classic cars, and the adverts might be worth something on their own.
If there's no interest I'll take them down to the local charity shop in a few days and hopefully someone there will want them.

When I last moved I had TONS of magazines that I wanted to go to a good home. I tried Ebay (no joy) and even spent a day at an event at Brooklands Museum............all to no interest whatsoever. I was trying to sell things like a years worth of 'Classic Cars / 'Classic and Sportscar' / various MG owners magazines (and I mean A LOT!) at £1 for 12 issues (a complete year). Guess what? Didn't sell ANYTHING! In the end, about a month later, they all went for pulping down at my local dump.

That's pretty much what I thought would happen, hence me not trying to ebay them. Seems a shame really!Captain Cadillac said:

OK well I'm happy to do that, but there's a lot of them and together they're quite heavy - I'd guess it could cost as much as £20 to send them 
I was given - they just don't sell today - Autocar from 1954-83 and The Motor from 1953-83. The weight of all that paper is incredible, but as an archive it is top notch. Trouble is, to get rid of it all will need a skip one day. Sad to see allk this information and road tests disappear, and I guess the only thing to do would be to destroy the magazines to scan the relevant pages, but I can't bring myself to do that.

Time was, when mags like Motor Sport were hugely collectable, and fetched good money. Now they're available on CD-Rom and you might as well pulp the lot. Sad really, I like the tactile feel of an old mag. Can't shift mine, cos I live in Ulster and the postage rates are ginormous.
