I have been told by a Jag dealer that one of the 20" wheels on my XF has been damaged, and it was demonstrated to me as spinning slightly 'wobbly' on the balancer. There is no noticeable damage when the wheel is static, but they have described it as a slight buckle (i.e. it's 'egged') where it has probably clonked a pothole or whatever. What do we reckon about jig repairs to this type of thing? A new wheel is like £800 and they can stick that.

There are some places that can do repairs, taking out flat spots is probably the easiest, but if it's out of true (ie when spun, the lip seems to move forward and back from the hub), it'll be harder or maybe even impossible to bend that back.

This place will do it-

and I've also seen BJV Engineering mentioned too

Well, I'm in the North West, but I do spend a reasonable amount of time in Basingstoke (unfortunately) so recommendations around there from PHers would be more useful, but thanks smile
