Rob is offering a little sponsorship scheme for rockingham.

Get your picture on the car and have a piccy taken.

I'm away for that round but hopefully he'll do the same for Silverstone.

I have no connection to RAR I'm just a fan who loves seeing the little man mix it with the big boys.

there is an interesting feature on him in this months evo he sounds like a real character - must be worth sponsoring to keep him in the series!

Shame they've been short on funds this year. The car has serious pace and Rob seems to be very handy behind the wheel. Definitely a potential winner.

Yeah real 'handy'.

Look up 'Bradley Ellis crash thruxton 2010' on YouTube or similar.

If I look up Jason Plato or Matt Neal crash I get loads of results, doesn't stop them being quick.

I'm confused, what did RA do wrong in that accident, he's saying the other bloke moved across his bows, is there another version I've missed?

It's good to see him taking the fight to the big boys, but I can't warm to him, he seems quite arrogant in the post race interviews.

The problem was the petulant shove he gave Brad, coming up Woodham hill. I know it was red mist, but that was a serious nono moment. Unless anything has changed Rob seems to be a bit prone to this sort of thing. He needs to calm down a bit.

Ah I didn't spot that, sounds like he'll fit in well with BTCC then!

I remember that shunt at Thruxton. Totaly Bradleys fault. Poor old Rob took a load of stick for it but he simply drove in a straight line and Bradley came accross having not seen him.

Ironicly I think Bradley drives the medical car at BTCC races now..?

Has Rob ever been 'quick'. My impression is pretty average in everything he's done.

He once crashed an F3 car after he crossed the line. He may not be the quickest, but he is comedy gold sometimes hehe.

He is a seriously quick driver-often watched him in historic F1 cars and he can certainly hustle one of those along...

Didnt he win that F3 race though? I remember there was something about a victory celebration that went wrong.
I dont think he's a super star but hes got some pace in BTCC, above average I would say anyway.

Yep, he won, then tried to do a kind of double fist pump, caught his glove on the wheel, and put the car in the wall. rofl

Yes he knows how to handle a F1 car, pretty mighty in a Surtess TS19.

He often says in BTCC interviews that hes nothing special and wants to get a proper driver in the car.

Are you sure?? Maybe he did it twice, I thought he got beached in the gravel after a failed doughnut. Not that it matters, still pretty funny!
