Chaps, I absolutely hate to ask such a dull question, but have just bought a V8V and pick it up in 2 weeks. (only very slightly excited), and am looking for a quick fix on a decent insurance company. Any recommendations? Sorry again, but I'll post some piccies when it arrives, I promise. thanks in advance, Mark

It's a dull question that gets asked once a week .......use the search facility there must be 20 threads on this subject........suggest you could use a search engine such as " go compare " like the rest of us !

Look forward to seeing the pics smile

Did try to search but says its down at the moment, sorry. Looks like I'm doomed to fill out the same details ad infinitum on the usual web searches. Sorry to bother you.....in fact, I'd be better off deleting the thread!

I moved from Adrian Flux (the renewal quote was a joke, just not a very funny one !! ) to Aviva on my 2006 Vantage Coupe.

1 month later (March 2012) i bought a 2008 Vantage Roadster - the insurance quote on that was a joke so
moved to Admiral.

Check out Admiral......

Insurance depends on so many factors.....where you live, how old you are , accident history, if you have a small knob, best always to use a couple of search engines ......if its helpful I pay £695 with Aviva

Just press alt and the corresponding letter on any keyboard and it will let you type it. Séë, çåñ dõ løâd$ ôƒ §¥mßôl§ if you know how, but I'm on a Mac, I presume you can do the same on windows smile

Might be worth asking them if they will mirror your no claims then? Some companies do it, after all, you can only be driving one car at once.

Yep that's what Aviva did for me ... Gave me full no claims on my second car

I did ask if I could use my ncd on this policy but they declined to. I guess that's a different question to, "will you mirror my ncd". I think I'll call and try that. Thanks for the tip George and Michael (that almost sounds like Geroge and Mildred).

You Sir, are a diamond. £790 with zero no claims, £640 with 5 years. That's the beauty of asking the dull question on here, as the majority of the mainstream quotes were closer to £1000. Thanks again chaps, and sorry, again for being dull.....how do I get circumflex on my iPad, I'm intrigued!?

Press and hold the different letters on the on-screen keyboard, and it pops up with all the variations that you could have of each one smile
