...you've ever seen on your satnav to next instruction?

I had "keep right in 251 miles" in Germany over the weekend and that got me thinking smile

I drove from Toronto to Montreal a couple of years ago. I got on the 401 and there was a large distance to the turn off. I've forgotten what it was but Google Maps suggests 450km.

I'd imagine some trips west on the Trans-Canada would give some 4 figure numbers.

Similar to that, about 200-ish miles on the A2 towards Berlin.

Cool - my wife is from Durban. I've only ever driven the Jo'berg -> Limpopo route, which is quite a drive.

I-10 New Orleans to Los Angeles. About 2 thousand miles on the same road.

You could do better if you started over on the Florida coast but that's best I've done.

A9 between Inverness and Perth gives about 105 miles with no sat-nav junctions. My old Tomtom gives 180 miles going south from Glasgow without advising a lane change, but newer ones advise a change when the M74 becomes the M6.
