Well I need to get back in the gym after some time away, however due to family commitments I'm only free Wednesday to Friday before work to train. I'm looking to run at the weekends, and just use gym time to bulk up and put some size back on. I'm well aware I could do with some rest days in between, however that is not possible, so I need to do the best with the time I have.

I'm thinking;

Wednesday
- chest and triceps

Thursday
- legs and abs

Friday
- shoulders, back and bicep

What are your thoughts?

Given that you'd need your abs (to some extent) when working the shoulders, I'd probably swap shoulders and abs round. I'd also put abs last as you might activate them while working the back (deadlifts?). You'll definitely be working the abs on Wednesday with bench presses and Thursday with squats!

You haven't listed what exercises you're doing but anyway, I'd drop triceps and biceps from any routine. A really good chest/shoulder workout is more than enough stimulation for the triceps, likewise, back for the biceps.

Horses for courses- try it an see if it works. Different people react differently to splits, only way you'll know is to try it out.
