Used car discount question advice please

Ok looking at a used six month old car , retail is 17995, without a part ex what would expected discount be ?. How much can they discount these days?, it's a cash deal, been offered 500 off but didn't want to include any road tax or matts.

Really depends. I've seen six month old cars for sale at main dealers for more money than a new one through DTD. So depends on Car and depreciation
