Hello
I am sure this is asked regularly on here
I am looking at a Bayliner 245 as my first "proper" boat
Does anyone have much experience/knowledge of the pricing structures/deals at the mo' also we are planning to go to the boat show in Southampton in a couple of weeks but it's a long trek from Notts is it still a good day out?
Cheers

It's still a good opportunity to go armed with your budget and have a look at / try out lots of different options.
I bought a similar boat 'ex-demo' (quite) a few years back (Rinker 272). The saving on list meant I didn't lose a penny reselling 3 years on.
You may love the 'liner. Or you may decide something better built, perhaps a bit smaller or different style would suit your needs better. In my case, I didn't need 4 berths after all, so the wider, flatter, faster, more economical and cheaper 232 would have been a better buy.

Not sure if you've been down yet but they have the new range of Bayliners there. Certainly worth having a look round the show.
Most boats of that size are being offered around £5k off list.

We are planning to go on Saturday and take a good look at the options (sell her the idea)

I had a quick look at the Cap Camarat on Sunday and got the brochure for it. Would it have been you I spoke to?
Don't know. I have blonde hair, wear glasses, was wearing a blue Yamaha jacket with white Jeanneau shirt underneath, I'm 27 if that helps! Shame we don't have the larger Cap Camarats here. The 7.5 DC is stunning!danyeates said:
Ah, ok. The dealer from Cumbria.
Ah fair enough. Unfortunately he seemed to spend a long time on his phone trying to ignore me no matter how much I indicated my desire to talk to him. Meant I didn't actually have time to get on the boat to have a closer look. The man from Benneteau was very helpful though

Let me know if you need any more information. I have a couple of Cap Camarats on order for stock display boats.
