SMART Question?

Anyone out there who can answer 2 questions about the SMART Getrag gearbox as fitted to FourTwos, Roadster Coupes etc:
1) Is it a true sequential or is the semi-automatic mechanism mapping up/down to H pattern at the gearbox?
2) How much power can the box handle?

I've found a decent amount of info out from here (Page 494, Getrag 431 box), but long story short - it's not sequential, it's just an actuated manual.
Looking at that, I thought the Peugeot MA was a poor box design, that's horrendously poor for higher-than-standard torques!
Also worth carrying on reading - the next one looked at is the 7-speeder in the E60 M5, followed by DSG boxes in various VWs and Audis.

Have a word with Ian for Bigperformance http://www.bigperformance.co.uk/contactus.asp. very knowledgable on smarts. I beleve has put upwards of 150bhp through a Smart gear box.
