Does anyone know how to overcome this problem? My nearside door mirror (2002 450 Chimaera) won't adjust enough to see properly. Either click it out and wind the electric adjustment fully in to see the curb or click it in and wind the electric adjustment fully out to see the side of the car. Its all a bit silly! Is there any further adjustment that I am missing please?

Sound like the whole assembly needs turning inwards. Its difficult cos the mirrors will fold in anyway. The mirrors on chim and grif are crap. If it wont budge its a take it of the car job and refit correctly.

Thanks for the reply, It sounds like a return to dealer for adjustment under warranty?

I got a load of noise from the wind past the mirror housing (plus it didn't match the angle of the passenger side - looked daft!)

I took the glass out, unscrewed the metal frame inside and modified the stops (with file and saw)

Now the angle of both mirrors are the same and I get to see where i've been
