Cerb at car show
Discussion
I decided to take my Cerb along to a classic car show on bank hol.
Mon. Lots of lovely old classics there so was not sure how my 'new'
TVR would be welcomed. My mate took his bright yellow Tuscan as well.
I put the bonnet up so the beardy types could have a good look at it.
The engine bay is near concours if I do say so myself. I have to say
that I was really suprised by the massive amount of attention and
interest the two cars created, all of which was positive. People
seemed to love them. Although I did print out a fantastic report from
Autocar saying what giant killers they were and how blisteringly quick
they are, people still asked loads of questions. I also took my Aston
and that was parked opposite with the AMOC so I could see both cars
but the Cerb Attracted more attention. Mike Brewer from Wheeler Dealers
was there and said to my mate how much he loved the Tuscan even though
it nearly killed him when he wrote it off. It was nice to hear how much
TVR's are still loved. Who knows, if I keep taking it to shows people may well start lusting after them and create an expensive demand for TVR's.

:Nothing very expensive but a lovely example. It's a DB7 Vantage Volante manual, 6.0 V12,
one of the very first off the line. Only 118 RHD VV manuals were made. I would love
to put a picture up but I am afraid being a bit of a dinosaur, I wouldn't know how.
Enjoyed taking the cerb so much last week, am getting my son to bring it again to
the last show of the season sun. Have just printed up and laminated some good info
to put in the screen for people to read. One piece says where the name comes from
and has a coloured picture of Cerberus the monstrous & terrifying 3 headed hellhound
that guards the gates of hell! The other is the fantastic piece that Autocar wrote
on how nothing this side of an F40 would stand a chance against a Cerb. Should grab
their attention!!
