I had a bit of time to kill early this evening, and was close to aforementioned shop so thought i'd have gander.

I noticed that there were a number of different clay bar kits available, ranging in price from £17 (Turtle Wax) to £25 (AG and Megs).

I think in total there were kits from about 5 different kits, and this came as suprise to me as the last time i purchased a kit there was a grand old choice of one (megs).

Christ my local Halfords is a last resort if that, no clay bar, nothing more than a small selection of Auto Glym and turtle wax but mostly cheap wash/wax

Just buy this, get a water spray bottle and jobs a good one. No need for any QD or lube, it's designed to work with water.

I have the AutoGlym kit and have used it once, it was brilliant. It will be used again next week and results will be posted here. Looking forward to it in a sad, anorak way hehe

Honestly my Megs clay works fine with water too, just need to keep the surface wet and be careful with it. Any marring would be sorted out with the polish and waxing i carry out after claying.
