TVR Speed 12 in Yorkshire
Discussion
the Legendary TVR Speed 12 will be at this year’s TVRCC BNG 2012 (Big Northern Gathering)
on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th September 2012 at Sherburn Aero Club near Wetherby in Yorkshire.
"Local Hero" Graham Abbott has kindly agreed to bring his road going Speed 12 to the event
and will be doing it's first test runs down the 2 mile long runway on the Saturday,
and will be part of the static display on the Sunday.
If this wasn’t good enough, one lucky person will have passenger ride down the runway on the Saturday.
There is one ride only, and will be offered to whoever gives the largest contribution to our chosen 2 Charities.
There will no other freebie rides, just the one charity run is available. All the other runs will be to used to test the car.
There is no other road car quite like it! More information on this legendary car is here: http://www.speed12.info/
Many thanks to Graham for his generous help with BNG 2012
Cheers

Am I right in thinking that the event is open for anybody to attend? I'd love to come and see the Speed 12, but I have an Elise.
The event is a TVR Car Club national event and not open to the general publicBUT Pistonheaders are welcome (as long as you buy some Raffle Tickets
as all monies made are for the Candlelighters and the Motor Neurone Centre)
Hope to see you along Al

A 120bhp Lotus Elise doesn't have a very exciting top speed.
Ask and you can have a ride in a TVR thenAsk nicely and I will take you in mine with the top down
120mph feels like 200mph and the noise is awesome!!!!!
The only one you won't get a ride in (unless you bid over £300 in the auction)
is the 800bhp Speed 12
Cheers
