Tortoise hibernation

Our tortoise has already gone through a hibernation last winter, so when can we expect him to start to think about this seasons hibernation. What are the signs watch for. Thanks.

Going off its food as they do not snooze with food

Even though it had a nap last year does not mean it will this year and to be honest if you keep it warm it will not go into sleep mode.

We overwintered our pair last year - and will do the same this year.
But ours are only young.

You'll have to look for changes in behavior, as this summer has been really crap and they've been pretty slow (no pun intended!!) all year :|
